Basketball player Wang Siyu recapped her remarkable journey through 2023, highlighting glories at the FIBA Women's Basketball Asia Cup and the Hangzhou Asian Games.
The year, however, was not so smooth as she also had to battle with injuries, said Wang in an interview with China Daily.
What's behind her has always been her passion for the sport, said Wang.
"Every moment in 2023 made me more certain that love lights my way forward," Wang said in the interview.
"In my professional basketball journey, there were doubts and denials, but I never let these petty voices affect my love and passion for the dream."
As for the upcoming new year, when the Paris Olympics will be held, Wang also expressed her aspirations for the tournament.
